For your standing up and marching forth in courage and bravery...
So, that your country and brothers may all know freedom... safety... and, peace...

these happy golden days of fall.

Hello Monday! This weekend was busy but fantastic fun! My roommates and I were running to and fro around all of Nashville with preparations for the Inversion Harvest Party that we threw Saturday night. Friday night and Saturday morning we spent our time decorating the house and cooking for this fabulous shin-dig! In the whirlwind of it all, I came to the realization that I live with a couple super heros! Let me explain: We have this massive window in our front room that has been without curtains for the two months or so that we've been living in this place. We knew we needed curtains but the party made us get off our cute lil' butts and get moving! So my roommate Sherri and I were out at the store looking at curtains Friday night when she walks out of the curtain section and walks to the fabric isle and chooses the most delicious looking chocolate brown silk fabric that just so happened to be ON SALE. SCORE! Saturday evening before the party, she realizes she hasn't made these curtains yet... She runs to her room, whips out her sewing machine, places it out on the folding table that is set up for the party, and in like 10 minutes we have curtains in the window! I mean, are you friggin' kidding me! Who does that?! YOU ROCK, SHERRI! Then, we have Caroleann who put most of the food together! She started cooking Friday night up until 7pm Saturday... the time of the party! She decorated the tables, put together the music... what an organizer! What a gift! How awesome of a person can you be?

The party: We had 40 awesome people filling up and gracing our home... pretty much all from the Inversion College and Career Group from Fellowship Bible Church. We ate pumpkin muffins with cream cheese frosting and nuts sprinkled on top, brownies with fudge and raspberries, an assortment of dips, cheeses, veggies, and a super delicious chili!... All cooked with love by Ms. Caroleann, herself!
Sunday ended up being the perfect follow up to the bustling week. There are tons of projects on my calender but I decided to clear my schedule and just relax before I totally freaked. I'm glad I did. Some things can wait... I figured it'll all be there Monday and here it is Monday and I haven't missed a thing! I went to church, drove around and watched the leaves turn colors, made chicken noodle soup, and watched movies with the roommates. Ahhh... I needed the breather!... And now, because of having had it, I'm ready to take on the rest of the week! :o)
